Fun outside on the deck

Parker loves looking out the window, out the slider, playing in the leaves and I realized that he hadn't been on the deck since he started crawling . . .so out we went the other afternoon to do some exploring (and no way would OUR little man try to or even actually eat leaves!)
This one seems to have a stem attached to it Mom!
Cheese-ball :)

Watching leaves blow around . . .

Oh my goodness Mom! The deck is full of leaves . . . and I LOVE it!!!!

So what has been going on lately at our house . . .
- The garage door decided to poop out on us, but it is finally fixed (Thanks to many attempts from my hubby, brother, brother-in-law, dad and Uncle Jack) and likely just in time for frost to start sticking to windshields so this is a good thing!
- We have all had URI/cold but of course nothing that we can get antibiotics for, so we've had to let the snot run it's course . . .be it ugly at times. Overall we are doing just fine and simply going through a lot of Boogie Wipes and tissues.
- Parker's rash is gone thanks to creams, A&D, Vaseline, naked baby time, baking soda and oatmeal baths, and AHEM a little carpet cleaning and laundry AHEM. We had been using Target Diapers and loved them but think they weren't absorbent enough for our little hydrant. So back to our trusty Huggies and slathering on the Vaseline at each changing . . we are looking good as new. The doctor said he is likely to get them from time to time and take a while to clear up because of his sensitive skin (darn genetics!)
-Preschool is fun and exhausting as usual. We carved pumpkins this week and are going to watch them decompose . . . should be interesting! This week we are talking about the letter "D" and making dirt dessert! Last week we talked about the letter "C" and make Chocolate Chip Cookies . . they LOVE to cook! (Don't worry I make them eat healthy things like carrots, cheese, and yogurt too . . . and we drink LOTS of water each week)
-Parker has been enjoying cruising around the house, ripping apart magazines, trying to chew on dog toys, and is pulling up on everything and even trying to stand by himself sometimes (YIKES!!!) He is able to fly all over the house, and loves chasing the vacuum. He is so cute to watch!
- I-LOVE-MACY'S! We scored some super cute new clothes for the little man this week. We should have a little time before some of them fit, but I know it won't be long and we'll be looking for clothes again. It is amazing how fast they grow!
- My friend Erin is getting married this Friday . . .WOOOP!WOOP! I'm her Matron-of-Honor and know it is going to be a busy and fun couple of days. I get to have a day and half off of work for the occasion, and I can't wait to share pictures of my friend on her special day.
Enjoy your weekend!!!!
