Parker loves the kitchen chairs. He thinks he is big stuff ducking to crawl under them and playing beneath them. So besides crawling all over the house this is his new favorite past time, especially when it involves trying to speed crawl to catch to cat water or dishes before mom or dad can get him. Silly boy!

Parker in his new jammies carrying around his shoes while he played
Grumpy face because his daddy kept using the flash to take pictures . . .haha
Hope you had a great weekend! :)

This weekend was both relaxing and busy which is always good. My mom and I picked up some supplies for baking for my younger brother's girlfriend's Senior Recital before Graduation in December (Yay for Auntie Sarah!!!!) Parker hung out with his Poppi and Daddy while we grabbed a few things at the store.
Saturday morning we did a little shopping and Parker got a new hat and some new jammies, and we got a few random things. I promise to take a few pictures of the new hat because P LOVES it . . . and well taking in off too (like anything on his head these days). Saturday afternoon/evening Noni and Poppi had a playdate with Parker so we could go to a church service and have some family time with Chris' side of the family(Thanks Noni and Poppi, Parker had a blast!). His Grandpa passed away one year ago on Monday (November 15th). It was nice to see everyone but we didn't take P-man because he's been congested and teething . . .and wouldn't have wanted to sit still at church.
Sunday Parker let us sleep in until 7 :) and then we did a little grocery shopping, and went to Big Apple Bagels. Parker got to have his own bagel piece and he just chewed and chewed and chewed on it. We may make a tradition of going to the store at 8 am on a Sunday and then breakfast. It was nice and quiet both places. Someday we won't have a napper during church times and we'll make it back there. Thankfully we know we can worship in our own ways until then and keep studying His word. We got home and put away the fall decorations, and put up the Christmas decorations. Parker took a snooze through the first half, but then loved playing with Jingle Bells for a while and dancing to me singing it for him. The we put the tree up and finished the decorations and he just was looking and looking and looking at everything. Our little observer :) And finally this afternoon, P is snoozing again and I get a little down time with a snuggly pup next to me and Christmas Music (LOVE that our satellite TV has a Christian Christmas music channel right now) in the background :) I'd say it could only be better with snowflakes drifting down, but I know there will be plenty in no time. This evening were getting together with my family for a little birthday gathering for my SIL. We are SO blessed to have both of our families so close!
Hope you had a great weekend! :)

Love the pajamas... so cute!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Drake does the same thing crawling under our kitchen chairs.
ReplyDeleteThose PJ's are SO cute!!
I also know what you mean about making it to church. Seems like we only make it about once a month when Drake wakes up from his morning nap early.
