5 months

 Hudson Thatcher . . .you are 5 months!  Stop growing so fast little man!

Here is what you are up to . . .

- (guessing on this a little) You are 17 pounds and about 28 inches
- You are wearing 6 month, or 6-9/6-12 month clothes and size 2 almost size 3 shoes
- You are a drooling machine . . .we'll see how much longer those two bottom teeth take to come in . . .teething for the past 2 months pretty much . . .but you haven't been too fussy about them moving so far.
- You take 1 good nap and two little naps a day, unless we are really lucky and then you might take 2-3 really good naps
- You sleep pretty well at night.  You still want to be in bed between 7 and 8, and really let us know how much you should have already been sleeping if we happen to go past that ;)
- You are eating only about 1 time in the middle of the night lately (because that's all I'm allowing . . . and you seem content with your paci otherwise) and that seems to fall about 2 or 2:30.  You still wake at about 11/11:30 but typically go right back to sleep when we stick your paci in.  You generally wake up between 6 and 7.
- You are loving real food little man!  You've started eating 2-3 "meals" a day.  You nurse in the morning, then about 2 hours later eat breakfast (cereal and usually about 2 oz of fruit), then about 2 hours later sometimes 3 a bottle or nurse.  Then you eat lunch about 2 hours later, and then bottle/nurse 2-3 hours later, and dinner after that, then nurse.  You eat rice cereal, oatmeal, pears, banana, applesauce, mango, sweet potato, and carrots.  You have also had water, cereal puffs and veggie puffs . . .you LOVE it all!  I should also mention you are one MESSY and loud eater . .  but so cute with that pureed mess all over your cute little face.  You LOVE your sippy cups and drinking water like a big boy.
- You have been trying to sit up since about 4 months and are starting to get better and better at it.  You get so excited to see all your toys and books at that angle :)
- You roll both ways, and are very strong!  You are scooting yourself backwards and starting to spin around on your belly when you have tummy time.
- You LOVE baths!  Splashing is your favorite, and I'm betting you'll make a mess in the sink just like your big brother did as soon as you've mastered sitting on your own.
- You love books, your puppy, your big brother, and all your other favorite people :)  You have the best smile!
- You snuggle just like your big brother, and I love it!

You are such a sweet boy :)
