11 Months

Hudson Thatcher, you are 11 months old!  You are WAY too close to being 1 year old, and I cannot believe it!  Here is what you are up to.....

-You wear size 4 or 5 shoes, size 4 diapers, and mostly18-24 month clothing.

- You are about 25 pounds and about 31 inches

- You love to eat!  You eat pretty much everything unless it is too many textures at once, like broccoli and chili are not a fav yet.  You love breakfast foods (sausage, eggs, waffles, toast, muffins, pancakes, yogurt, dry cereal, and bananas), you love lunch and dinner (some favs are Broccoli cheese soup and grilled cheese, lasagna and any kind of pasta, green beans, diced fruits, cheese, chicken, crackers, and always prefer to grab your fruit off your plate first).  You have started to drink some cow milk this month and LOVE it.  You still nurse in the morning and at night but I'm kind of glad to not have to pump anymore, but love our Mommy and Hudson time. 

- You LOVE to read.  You want books read over and over :)

- You love to dance and find out where music is coming from, whether it is a band, radio, or Pandora, you can't get enough.  You also love playing instruments and singing into the microphone.

- You LOVE all things animal related, your favorite toys are the Little People farm we have and a little tractor and trailer that go.  You try making every animal noise and some are pretty close.

- You like your routine: wake up between 6 and 7,  breakfast at about 8, nap between 9 and 10, sometimes a snack around 10:30, Lunch around 12/12:30, nap around 1 or 2, sometimes a snack about 3/3:30, dinner around 5/5:30, and bed between 7 and 8. 

- You still take two naps, and seem to need both still, which is fine by me.  You like to smoosh into the corner of your crib or pack and play.  You love your blankie and paci still. 

- You love to be everywhere your big brother is.  You love playing in the kitchen (both real and play kitchen) and opening and closing everything.  You love to play with cars and trucks, and play with chunky puzzle pieces (like your brother's fun truck puzzle).

- You are cruising along everything, standing alone for longer periods of time, walking across the room with push along toys, and trying to climb on everything.  You are getting pretty good at bending/crouching down without losing your balance, getting up and down with ease and are still a speed crawler.  You love to open and close everything.

- You can say Mama, Dada, Bra-bra, cra-ca (cracker), and buh-bye; you sign - more, all done, cracker and milk, and are trying to do "book".  You love to shake your head "no" when we tell you no or your hear it in a familiar story, and you try to say lots of phrases and are pretty close :) Smart little buddy!

- You love to clap, slap, and snap (it's your thing with your daddy).

- You are pretty go-with-the-flow, unless it comes to meal time, or being told no, then you get loud or even bring out the tears.  I think you are even louder than your big brother at times.  Silly . . .silly!

You got your first tooth this past month. It is your top left incisor :) I have a feeling more are coming soon!

You are such a sweet boy.  We love you to the moon and back bubba!
