Hi Parker!

It's your Mom! As I sit down to write you a little note you are snoozing on my lap giving me sleepy smiles :) It is the best! Today was the first day you got to be home with just me . . .your daddy had to go back to work and you are now 12 days old. I can't believe you are that old and at the same time I feel like you've always been around. I think that is because I've waited my whole life for you, to be your mommy.

You are pretty amazing at 12 days old. Here are 12 things we know about you:

1. You love snuggling all scrunched up, especially in the sling tummy to tummy with me.

2. You don't like being cold, hate diaper changes and getting dressed because of it.

3. You like to pee all over the place, we are learning to be really really fast, and always have wash cloths close by when we change you .

4. You like to suck on a paci, but only when you are tired or really sad. It calms you right down.

5. You love your giraffe lovie, and snuggle up with it all the time.

6. You are so strong! You love to do sit ups in the morning for me, and hold your head so well . . .it's hard to keep all those brains up!

7. You love to swing.

8. You love being swaddled.

9. You are a great eater (even though you started off eating like a barracuda), and you love a full belly . . .and you burp pretty well, and only spit up a little bit. You were up to 7lbs 3 oz (one shy of your birth weight) at 8 days old . . way to go buddy!

10. You don't like "baths" yet but love your hair being washed and a head rub (just like daddy)

11. Speaking of daddy, you look just like him, have his hair line, eyes, nose and brow line . . so handsome.

12. You have my eyes, lips and chin . . and are as cute as a bug!

Parker, you are loved so much! We prayed for you to come in our lives, God knew how much we wanted to be parents and he blessed us with you. We are so thankful, so grateful, and promise to show you all the things God plans for us to. We can't wait to see what He has in store for you. We do know that we'll always support you, love you, and care for you no matter what paths you take in life.

Your dad and I can't wait to take you to baseball games, to show you off to everyone we know, to watch you grow and change even more each day, to teach you about God, to introduce you to your church family, and see your expressive face change each day. Know how loved you are and how very special you are Parker boy!!
