Our first big trip :)

This weekend Parker took his first big car trip. We drove to visit his Great grandparents, Great aunt and uncle and cousins, and his future best buddy Jackson.

He had a big day, starting out with professional pictures . . .and peeing all over the place while we were there about 4 times. Quite impressive! We then finished packing up our things, and headed to the otherside of the state. He slept the entire time :) YAHOO!!! (Uncle Brad and Auntie Katie . . . we're off to a great start for our long haul to visit you in Texas!!!) We stopped at Panera while we were over there because you all know how much I love that. YUMMMM! We stayed at Grandma Groters (Parker's Great Grandma) and got to visit with some family.

Next we stopped at Marnie and Ross' to meet their new little man, Jackson. He and Parker were born just one week apart, and we can't wait to watch them grow up together (if only they lived down the road!) Marnie and I have been best of friends since 2nd grade and it is so special to share our baby stories :) We can't wait to see all the fun things these two boys will get to do together!
We can't wait until they are aware of one another and get to play! Nice sleepy stretchy face P! ;)

Parker had a great first car trip, and we plan to take many more with him . . .hoping he always sleeps as well in the car as he did this time. If he is anything like his daddy he will!
