7 months!

Parker Lee you are 7 months old today! Here is what you are up to at 7 months:

You weigh 21lbs 4oz and are 28.5 inches (just about the 90th percentile for both)!!!

You are wearing 9 month, 6-12 month, and some 12 month things (every store seems to make things a bit differently), are into size 3 shoes now (which means your momma needs to buy you some new shoes!!!)

You still are wearing size 3 diapers, but we think we may move to size 4 when we finish this next box. We'll see :)

You nurse or take a bottle between 5 and 6 times a day (you still prefer smaller amounts throughout the day vs more ounces per feeding - taking 4-5 ounces).

You eat breakfast (1-2 ounces fruit, cereal, and sometimes a little yogurt in there too), lunch (usually 1-4 ounces of a veggie and fruit combo), dinner (1-4 ounces of a fruit and veggie combo, or cereal and fruit), and have mini snacks in between. You love to drink your water too!

You have now added avocado, strawberries, blueberries and some tiny pieces of meat (turkey and chicken) to your palate. You love to eat bread, cereal, and crackers of all kinds (just like your momma). You LOVE trying new things, and we are SO proud! And I don't have to hide your green veggies (usually don't have to) anymore . . you are liking more tastes and textures each day! You are most proud when you get to feed yourself little finger foods . . .and we love to hear it crunch on your little teeth!

You have been sitting up really well for about 2 months now, and are trying really hard to crawl. You'll rock on your hands and knees and try so hard to get moving. You can scoot yourself backwards, and roll to get places. You are pretty proud of yourself! You are trying to take steps and have the cutest little high step, and sometimes look like you are dancing or running when you get really excited to go somewhere.

You LOVE making noises: blowing razzs, screaching, babbling, singing, saying your vowels, mmmmmmm, pretending to slurp . . .goodness it is cute!

You still take 2-4 naps a day, and a typical nap is between 40 minutes and 1.5 hours . . .but sometimes you'll take a good 3 hour one in there.

Even though we bought the bigger infant carseat, it is too heavy carrying you in it, so we went and got your big boy carseat and you seem to love the extra space. So now we will keep that one in momma's car and your dad's will have your other one, until you outgrow it (let's hope not for a while)

You are usually up for the day between 6 and 7:30, and ready for bed between 8 and 9:30. But I bet you'll be getting up earlier with Momma going back to work next week.

You are a bit stubborn, and let us know when you aren't happy, but you are a happy boy about 98% of the time.

Some of your favorite activities at 7 months are: rolling, babbling, drooling, watching your daddy do anything and everything, going everywhere with your momma, chewing on everything, feeding yourself, giving kisses, blowing bubbles, petting your animals, reading books and turning pages, banging toys and measuring cups together, clapping and trying to wave "hi", and snuggling.

This month you went to two MLB games, still have 2 teeth, learned to feed yourself, mastered a sippy cup, are trying to crawl, went swimming in a real pool for the first time and LOVED it, had to get more shots at the doctor and weren't feeling very well the next day, got to swing on a real swing for the first time, and grew even more before our eyes.

We love watching you grow, are so proud to be your parents and know that God has BIG things in store for you little man! Happy 7 month birthday P-man!
