You LOVE to sing and dance, to any kind of music. Your favorite thing to sing is the intro song to your Baby Signing Time video. So sweet!
You have lots of words and understand even more. You say: Mama, Dada, Hi, Buh-bye, puppy, Beh/Bel (Bella the cat), Kitty, moe (more), baby, Pzzz (Pleeze), Ah Duh (All done), Ba ba (bottle), No no, chzz (cheese), bah (ball), dah (duck), tee (teeth), doh doh (go go)wa wa (water), Nana (for Noni), Papi (Poppi), upa (up), burpie (for your favorite thing to snuggle with burp cloths), uh oh, ah choo . . . and more things but I can't think of them at the moment. You can sign mama, dadda, dog, cat, bird, more, please, all done, eat, drink, milk, go, book, ball, cheese, cracker, help, baby, and hat (again all I can remember at the time). Such a smart little man!
You cruise along everything, love pushing your cars and walkers around the house, and will stand, bend over and crouch to pick things up without losing your balance, and it won't be long and you'll be walking all over the house. You are one fast crawler and your favorite thing is to crawl around with balls or various items hanging from your mouth (I think like Sparty does), and put on daddy's hats and race around the house and stop to laugh and laugh and do it all over again. You are so silly!
You still love reading, pretty much any book, but really love real picture books or books with animals and things you know how to say or sign. I love that you enjoy reading so much, it is so good for you!
You love to drink from your sippy cups, and will drink water, milk, or your yogurt smoothies. I am letting you keep the bottle until after we come back from Texas because I want you to be able to have it on the airplane to help your ears pop. You only get it before bed and if I can get you to take if from a sippy before bed we do it that way. Otherwise you drink everything out of your cup and LOVE using cups and straws.
You only eat table food and we practice every now and then with silverware (but they mainly becoming drum sticks for my little musician). You eat fruit (mango, banana, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, cherries, grapes, and sometimes you like melon), some veggies (mainly broccoli, but tolerate carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and sometimes corn), bread and crackers, cheese, yogurt, sausage, hot dogs, chicken, cordean bleu (your all-time favorite), raisins, french fries, grilled cheese, LOVE anything sweet (cookies, cake, candy . . .just like mom and dad), lasagna, pasta, you don't eat red meat plain but love it in savory dishes like pastas and casseroles, scrambled eggs, toast, bagels, cereal bars, and LOVE Smart food popcorn (we just get rid of the kernel for you).
You are such a smart, happy, silly boy. You love to go to new places and see new things, love to snuggle, dance, sing, smile, are sometimes very stubborn, you are both cautious and observant but can be a dare devil at the same time. You have grown so much from when we brought you home from the hospital and learn new and exciting things all the time. We love you so much Parker!
AH! So CUTE! Love the little video of your puppy :) Can't wait to see him!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteCute! He sounds absolutely perfect. I love reading about these, and so wish I had known/thought to do something like this when mine were smaller! especially with the words. THere is nothing- nothing!- cuter than their words at this age!
