13 months

Hudson Thatcher.....you are 13 months old!

You had your 1 year well check last Friday, and you are 26lbs 9oz (90%tile), and 32.5 inches (95%tile)

You wear size 12-24 month pants, and 18-24mo/2T tops. You wear size 5 shoe, but likely will be going to a 6 within a little bit here. You still wear size 4 diapers.

You are a walking machine, pretty much running everywhere. You were walking about 1/2 way across the room at your birthday, and about 5 days after that you decided you would walk everywhere. You love to climb, jump, and dance.

You love to eat! You have a lot of favorites, but some are bananas, diced fruits, pizza, soup, grilled cheese, crackers and yogurt. You love anything sweet, proven by your devoured cake :) you nurse 1-2 times a day and hither wise drink whole milk and water from a sippy cup. You have been so easy to not get to drink from a bottle, because one day (around 8 months) we just started you getting your typical bottle feeds in a cup with a little snack, and never looked back.

You love that Talking Woody doll most of all. You love all things musical, currently live stealing all the bells off the Christmas tree, and pushing and/or turning anything on and off that you can reach. You currently love doors, drawers, opening and shutting anything you can, but you are pretty good about cleaning up when we ask, which makes us so proud.

You are signing and saying a lot of things. Signs- more, eat, drink, all done, milk, please, doggy, kitty, and book. Words- momma, dada, papa (poppi), bra bra (brother), part (Sparty), num num, uh oh, ho (hello), buh-bye, ah don(all done), cracka(cracker), eeh haw(for Yee haw, aka Woody), bun bump bump (the giddy up cowboy noise...), ease (please), go? (Where'd it go?), qack qack (for quack quack -duck), arf arf (for dog), booooo (for cow), cocka do doooo (rooster), ocka ocka (rocka rocka - rocking chair), bee (blankie), ceee (Paci)

You can find your nose, hair, feet, ears, and love to point out everyone else's noses, ears, eyes, etc. You can find your shoes, and match a pair, you know where socks go, and how to take them off. If you have a stinky diaper, we can say "Let's go change your diaper!" And you typically run into your room so we can do that. You can find just about anything that we ask you where it is (your blankie, paci, certain toys, cup, shoes, etc). You are so smart!

You have developed a toddler tantrum, and can give the attitude right back to your brother. You melt into a puddle when we go to pick you up and you don't feel like being moved. You are even louder than your big brother when you scream (higher pitch right now), and you do not like when things area taken away from you when you are playing with them. You are very determined and like to tease, you could chase your brother for days around the house and want to do everything he does, which most of the time Parker loves.

You still love books, and will sit and read them for a long time, but usually on your own time, when you start getting tired you don't want to stop moving to listen, but when you wake up you will snuggle and read. You have lots of favorites, but anything with animals, or songs, or shaking your head no is a fav.

You are snuggly, loving, silly, determined, adventurous, and independent. We love you lots buddy!
